Lots of space and freedom between the Chiemsee beach and the Chiemgau Alps: Our bungalow is located right in the middle between Lake Chiemsee and the Chiemgau Alps, close to the Tyrolean Achen, in a large garden with old trees. The house was completely renovated in 2022 and then lovingly equipped and furnished. What was particularly important to us here was to showcase the special location and the 180° mountain view and to capture and preserve the charm of the region and that of an old house. In the large, quiet garden you can relax wonderfully and enjoy your vacation. Our house - a bungalow from the 1960s, which was completely gutted, renovated and furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail in 2021/22, offers plenty of space for up to six people on around 130 square meters of living space. Here you will find a very spacious, open and bright living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and panoramic window sill with a fascinating view of the Hochplatte and Kampenwand. A wide, wide-opening window front opens up a view to the south over the large, beautiful garden towards the Chiemgau mountains. Here you also have the opportunity to enjoy the almost 180° panoramic view on a spacious wooden terrace. Directly connected to the living area is another room with direct access to the garden and terrace. It can be visually and acoustically separated from the living room with a sliding door and can therefore be used both as a TV room and, thanks to a pull-out sofa, as a bedroom for two additional people. Next to it, also facing south and with access to the garden, is a large bedroom with a wide double bed made of real, solid pine wood, which with its characteristic scent creates a wonderful atmosphere for your restful night's sleep. Two large, lovingly restored, rustic single beds made of solid wood can be found in the east-facing room, which is ideal for children. The house has a separate guest toilet, a large, modern bathroom with toilet and shower, a hallway with plenty of space and a utility room with washing machine, dryer etc. The terrace and the large garden invite you to unwind and relax. One of our favorite places is the hammock in the partial shade under the fruit trees with a view of the Kampenwand. The entire house is heated by modern underfloor heating. As part of the renovation, in addition to extensive insulation measures, a sustainable heating concept with a heat pump was also implemented. You rent the entire house with a plot of around 1500 square meters, which you have completely to yourself and can use freely. Free parking spaces are also available. Only access to the technical rooms/garage is not permitted. Our house is perfect for four people; occupancy for up to six people is possible using the sofa bed. The basic price is calculated for four people, each additional guest is charged €25/night. Due to the facilities and local conditions, we also recommend our house for families with children aged 6 and over. Dogs on request. FURNISHING: Sleeping: A large bedroom with a double bed made of pine wood (2x2m) and access to the terrace, a small bedroom with two large single beds (1x2m) and a guest sofa (1.4x2m) in the area that can be visually and acoustically separated from the living room using a sliding door. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are available and included in the rental price. Kitchen: In the modern, fully equipped open kitchen (induction stove, dishwasher, oven, espresso machine, French press, toaster, refrigerator and freezer, etc.) you will find all the kitchen utensils and dishes your heart desires and you can cook stress-free you need to enjoy in style. Tea towels and dishwashing liquid are of course also available. Living/dining area: Dining area for six people and additional seating with a panoramic view as well as a sofa, TV and reading area for chilling out in the adjoining room. There is a fireplace in the living area for cozy hours. We provide you with firewood and lighters free of charge. Bathroom & toilet: The house has a large, modern, seamless bathroom with a floor-level shower and a separate guest toilet. Towels and soap are of course available. Garden: On the spacious terrace you will find seating for six people and a high-quality gas grill. There are also additional seating areas around the house and in the garden that invite you to chill out and relax. One of our favorite places is the hammock in the airy shade under the fruit trees. A table tennis table and a large trampoline are available for small and large children (use at your own risk!). Other: Free WiFi, smart TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner and various cleaning utensils. Parking space: Free in front of the house, sufficient for several vehicles. Wallbox: Since summer 2023, you have had the opportunity to charge your electric car easily and conveniently right on your doorstep. This works by prior arrangement using an RFID chip.
