Puddle Duck Cottages are located in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the World's first cast iron bridge and birthplace of the industrial revolution, featuring 10 award winning museums including Blists Hill Victorian Town, Enginuity, Jackfield Tile Museum, Tar Tunnel and Coalport China Museum Each holiday cottage offers a truly home from home holiday experience, in a tranquil and peaceful location next to the River Severn at Jackfield, the cottages are located near to the Wrekin Way footpath, providing our guests with traffic free scenic walks and cycle trails to enjoy during their stay. There’s a great choice of places for guests to enjoy a bite to eat or drink, whether that be fine dining, coffee and homemade cake at one of the local cafés or the perfect pint with a pub lunch at any of the 11 local hostelries which are all only a short walk away. The picturesque centre of Ironbridge is only one mile away, it is easily accessible on foot along the traffic free Severn Valley Way and boasts lovely independent shops and excellent places to dine out. Puddle Duck Cottages are well appointed throughout and provides guests comfortable and contemporary accommodation, with character features consisting of wooden beams, as well as a lovely large inglenook fireplace with log burner, all of which help to create a charming atmosphere. The pretty front gardens overlook the River Severn and the patio and rear terraced gardens are perfect for some alfrescro dining, enchanced by the pizza and bbq oven provided for guests use. The rear gardens are directly accessed from the kitchen and living room patio doors. The cottages can be booked individually or jointly for larger groups of families and friends, wishing to spend some quality time together in this perfectly central location in glorious Shropshire.
