COVID-19 details at the bottom of this description.<br><br>NOTE: If you are on the .com version of HomeAway any pricing defaults to USD. You can check by looking at the flag in the top, centre right of the page. If it is a US flag the rate is quoted in USD.<br><br>A secluded 4 bedroom cottage with over 300 feet of lakefront. Located on the South West of Lake Kagawong. We allow house trained pets.<br><br>If you are looking to have 10 guests this cottage best accommodates up to 6 adults and up to 4 kids. <br><br>There are horse shoe pits, a sand box and about a quarter acre of <br>lawn at the cottage. There is a dock, with a buoy offshore for tying up a boat <br>(the cottage comes with a canoe for getting out to the buoy and back). Lots of people, of all ages, have enjoyed swimming out front of the cottage over the years.<br><br>Starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels provided. You may need to buy more if you are staying a long time or have a large group.<br><br>There are 5 steps to get into the front door. You can enter off the deck in to the kitchen or the family room.<br><br>A great location, within 2 hours of Sudbury, to host a girl's getaway weekend.<br><br>1st Bedroom<br>There is a queen size bed, walk-in closet, chest of drawers, night tables with lamps, windows out toward the parking area. <br><br>2nd Bedroom<br>Essentially a kids room with single over single bunk beds. Each level of the bunk bed can sleep one child, or one adult for 2 people total. There is a closet were we keep the play pen (pack n play for our American guests).<br>UPSTAIRS<br>3rd bedroom<br>Queen size bed, futon, closet and night table. Fair size room has room to move around although a small part of the ceiling is sloped. There is a partial view out to the lake through the window in the room.<br><br>4th bedroom<br>Another fair size room, the mirror image of the 3nd bedroom. There is queen size bed, futon, computer desk (no computer). There is a window looking towards the back (non-lake side) of the cottage, over the parking area and forest.<br><br>Downstairs Bathroom<br>A 4 piece bath, tub with shower, toilet, sink. Blow dryer. this room is immediately outside of the 1st bedroom and 2nd bedroom.<br><br>Kitchen<br>The kitchen has a fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, cutlery, etc., enough to cover off most regular meals, especially for a rental cottage. Table with 8 chairs and 2 ottomans.<br>Open area to the dining area with view out to lake. Door to the outside deck.<br><br>Utility area off the kitchen<br>Full size stack-able, washer, dryer.<br><br>Family room<br>Off the kitchen is the combined dining area/family room in a fairly open concept. It has a 43\" 4K smart tv, satellite package which includes movie, kids and sports channels, Hayu streaming service and Disney+. There is a gas fireplace. There is an Xbox X system with a Game Pass (lots of games to play). A couch coffee table. There is a book shelf with books, dvds, puzzles, games. There is where the cottage phone is. There are large windows looking out to the lake over the deck. There is a door out the front of the cottage.<br>There are stairs up to the 2nd storey.<br><br>The cottage is winterized and has forced a forced air gas furnace. <br><br>There is a public boat launch about 5 minutes east of the property. There is a buoy about 40 feet out from the dock that allows you to dock boats up to 30 feet long (likely longer). We ask you to use the buoy vs. the dock to tie your boat up over night, or during storms.<br><br>Experience the leaves changing typically at the end of September/early October. Guests can enjoy seeing the leaves, salmon run (off property), bird migration (never know what birds/animals you see on the property - common are deer, eagles, grouse, rabbits, sometimes fox.<br><br>Use the cottage as your ice fishing base. Whether you fish Lake Kagawong (we can provide an ice fishing hut if you let us know when you book). Snowmobiling trails start fairly close by. Cross country skiing, on our own trails/fields. You need to bring your own equipment for all of the various winter sporting activities. Enjoy the various animal tracks after a fresh snowfall (from mice to rabbits and deer and others there are usually a number of tracks in the snow).<br><br>During spring is a great time to see the bird migration. As the lake thaws, around the edges you often see various water fowl that have either moved to the island for the warm weather or are passing through on the way north. You'll likely see a lot of birds you don't see further south. Rainbow trout swim upstream to spawn at this time. Internet searches can tell you if they are running and the best spots to see them.<br><br>COVID-19 Details:<br>You access the property by yourself. Therefore, we are relying on you to follow provincial guidelines. If you meet requirements please feel free to instant book or contact us to discuss if you have any questions. <br><br>The provincial government and local health authority can change restrictions at any time as we are required to follow the law.<br><br>If the border is open to your country during your dates feel free to book. The border for Americans to visit is open as of August 9, 2021.<br><br>VRBO Health and Safety policy selections are not Canadian/Ontario friendly. For regional safety options they only list options outside of Canada but don't let us save our safety policies without selecting an option so we had to choose \"Not Sure\" since none of the other options made sense (over seas countries) and we couldn't save without selecting something. We do follow guidelines from the Province of Ontario. We provide bedding that has been washed and not used by any other guest for at least 3 nights.<br><br>We've had to put some items, such as books, and games, and other items that can't be easily sanitized between stays. Prior to your arrival we send emails with more details that we try to keep up to date.<br><br>For those who book after mid-March 2020 we are open to providing a 100% cancellation refund provided the site you book on still allows this and the reason for cancelling is that the Canadian/provincial government isn't allowing the booking due to COVID-19.")
